AGM And Family Quiz Report…
The Group wish to thank all the parents who supported the AGM and Family Quiz.
It was an emotional night as Kirk Pickstone stood down as Chairperson due to health reasons.
Also Dennis White stood down as Secretary after around 30 years.
They were both presented with suitable drinking glasses and their wives received flowers for letting them play.
Others received their Service awards. Tom Paddock – Scout Leader – 5 years, Sue Slater – Assistant Cub Leader – 15 years, Richard Goode – Treasurer – 20 years, Monday Beavers, Friday Beavers, Monday Cubs, Thursday Cubs, Friday Cubs, Tuesday Scouts, Wednesday Scouts, Explorers, Young Leader of the Year, A big thanks to Julia and her husband for running the Family Quiz., (pictured below, left to right).
