Over the Easter weekend, 79 Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers took part in our Virtual Camp.
Due to Covid restrictions, we are not able to go away on camp, so we decided to ‘have one at home’
We started with a competition to design a camp badge. Lots of brilliant designs from all age groups were sent in. We chose this design by 6 year old Jack, from Friday Beavers.

Everybody was encouraged to sleep out on the Saturday evening, some braving the cold and camping in their gardens, others pitching tents indoors or building a den in their room.
Activities included an online fitness session, Birds of Prey online, a scavenger hunt and a bedtime story.
Challenges included toasting marshmallows and sausages, cooking a full meal indoors or outdoors, learning knots, kite building and flying, building a miniature garden even a shadow puppet theatre!
