AGM and Family Quiz Report 2017...

Thanks to all the Leaders, Parents and Committee Members who attended the AGM and Family Quiz on Thursday the 7th June 2017.

There was a quick review of the year from both the Chairperson, Kirk Pickstone, and the Group Scout Leader, Mick Judd.

The Group had increased its membership since last year particulary in Beavers. Obtaining more Leaders was now a priority.

The Group Committee desperately needs parents to join them ideally a representative from each Section. They meet on the second Wednesday of each month at 7.15 pm at the HQ.

Anyone interested in assisting should discuss with the Chairperson, Group Scout Leader or the Secretary, Dennis White.

The Quiz engaged a few teams. Thanks to all who entered and Julia Phillips who set the questions. There were some interesting posers amongst them.

Presentations were made by each Section to the member who had made the most progress in the twelve months based on attendance, badges, and attitude among other things.
